LIME SUBSTITUTE- PLASTICIZER FOR CEMENT MORTARS AND PLASTERINGS
Properties
STOPKAL is a concentrated plasticizer for cement mortars and plastering that provides a best-in class adherence and workability, and since it is liquid, STOPKAL guarantees a material economy, a fast performance and an excellent finish.
Uses
STOPKAL can be used in cement mixtures; light-weight concrete, concrete floors/bare floors and plastering.

Advantages:
STOPKAL adds several advantages to the mixture such as adherence, impermeability and absence of cracks. Since it does not contain calcium oxide, STOPKAL is not an aggressive product and does not damage other construction materials (paintings, metallic pipes, etc.), or the tools used at the work place. By using STOPKAL, plastering can also receive waterproof paintings, plaster, patching-plaster/spackle, etc.

Recommendations
- Prepare the mixture preferably in mixer during at least 12 minutes.
- Excessive water can cause loss of resistance in mortar.
- It is always necessary to perform prior tests in the same construction conditions to determine the proper STOPKAL dosage.
- Use STOPKAL within 2 years of manufacture.

Dosage
STOPKAL dose is generally calculated on the basis of cement used. (Please see attachment chart). Volume you must use the metering cap of the dispenser bottle equal to 5 ml (full). For higher quantities of cement sacks, you must use the dispenser bottle set in ml (please see instructions on bottle). Please take into account that 1 Lt STOPKAL equals 800 Kg LIME approximately.
SUGGESTED PROPORTIONS OF CEMENT /SAND:
- Masonry mixtures (Bricks, blocks) 1/6 to 1/8
- Plaster 1/3 to 1/6

Storage
STOPKAL must be kept in a covered, cool, dry, ventilated place. Please keep STOPKAL out of children and animals’ reach and away from heat sources.
