Characteristics

The MEGAFLEX WATER- RESISTANT IN PASTE is an inorganic white emulsion of doughy consistence that is used as a waterproofing additive in concretes and cement mortars. It is compounded by metallic salt and silicates. It has a density of 1gr./cm. Due to the fact of its chemical properties it lets the breathing of the materials, securing the useful life of them and keeping the atmosphere healthy.

Recommended Uses

THE MEGAFLEX WATER-RESISTANT IN PASTE is the waterproofing used for horizontal insulation layers (foundations, basements), vertical (walls) and waterproofing concretes avoiding the humidity in skirting boards, floors and walls in contact with the soil or exposed to the elements. It is also useful to the waterproofing of swimming pools and drinkable water tanks.

Warnings And Precautions

• If the material gets into the eyes, flush immediately with clean water and seek urgent medical attention.
• If the material is swallowed induce vomiting. Drink water and seek urgent medical attention.

Method Application

THE MEGAFLEX WATER-RESISTANT IN PASTE is always diluted in the water to be used in the preparation of the mix (mortar) or in the concrete. Generally: 1:10.
IMPORTANT: when the bucket is open mix the product before using it. THE MEGAFLEX WATER-RESISTANT IN PASTE waterproofing has to be applied in layers. It is applied the first layer on the clean and wet bricks (slurry), it is let dry for a while and immediately the second layer is applied in an uniform and compacted way with a total thickness of 1cm. The edges have to be rounded forming a half round.
