Characteristics

Primer with solvent base of extra fast drying, for multiple uses. Megaflex Asphalt Primer is a solution in which takes part special oxidised asphalt bases and volatile solvents from oil distillation. The quick solvent volatisation allows the formation of a flexible film of high adhesiveness and waterproofing.
It is a waterproofing product and it is also an anticorrosive coating. Because of the extra fast drying, it is the most suitable product for works where the time of drying is decisive.

Recommended Uses

To prime substrates to be waterproofed with asphalt membranes.
In waterproofing on wood, fibre concrete, concrete, metallic surfaces sheets, drainpipes, covering, etc.

Packing

• Canning of 1lt (PA1)
• Canning of 4lt (PA4)
• Canning with handle of 18lt (PA18)
• Drums of 200lt (PA20)

Application

The surface to be painted should be clean and dry. It will be applied with wide brush, paint roller or drier.
This step will be made in cold because the paint is flammable.

Warning and Precautions

As it is an extra fast drying product, it has volatile solvents, is flammable and it doesn’t have to be near heat sources or flames. It mustn’t be applied in closed places. In each case, the place has to have a correct airing.

Efficiency

The suggested efficiency as primer (in two coats) is 0,5 lt/m2 approximately.
