PASSABLE LIQUID MEMBRANE
Characteristics
EMULTRANS Liquid Membrane is a waterproofing coating based on polymers acrylics dispersion and short synthetic fibers, of excellent elasticity to waterproof coverings, roofs, parapets, etc. The dried film forms an elastic and waterproofing membrane, satin, of excellent abrasion strength, very good adherence and long useful life.

As waterproofing in:
- Coverers and passable terraces (medium traffic)
- Vaults and roofs with strong slope of fiber concrete or tiles.
- To cover waterproofing with asphalt base.
- To paint concrete surfaces.

Recomendaciones
Concrete materials should have a minimum cure of 28 days.
If the surface has excessive porosity or fissures they should be previously fixed.
If there are rests of acrylic waterproofing, they must be sandpapered before the application.
Don’t use with temperatures of less than 5º C, or with relative humidity higher than 80% or when it is going to rain.
The direct contact with eyes, mucus membranes and skin, it could cause light irritations.
Application Method
The surface to be waterproofed must be cleaned of dust, oxide, moss, etc, and dry, flat and stable. The surfaces to be waterproof should have a minimum slope. The application can be made with brush or roller. It allows to be coloured with universal colours (up to 7cc of colour per kilo of EMULTRANS).
- Apply at least two coats of the product without diluting, to obtain the required consume appropriate to the application (see Efficiency).
- Allow the correct drying between each coat applied. The time of re-painting between coats is from 6 to 12 hours depending on the temperature and the relative humidity.
- On absorbent surfaces apply previously a coat as a primer diluting EMULTRANS with a maximum of 20% of water.
- To achieve a better waterproofing it is advisable to apply previously a first coat of primer with Megaflex Asphalt Emulsion of watery base.
- The total mass advisable for the waterproofing of roofs is of 1 kg/m2.

Storing
Keep the product in a covered place, fresh, dry and aired. Keep away from children and animals and heat sources.
First Aids
- Take the contaminated clothes off immediately.
- In case of inhalation: Breath fresh air. If the discomfort continues, seek medical attention.
- Skin Contact: Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
- Eye Contact: Wash immediately with plenty of water during 15 minutes, keeping the eyelids opened. If the irritation persists, seek medical attention.
- In case of ingestion: Don’t provoke vomit. Seek medical attention and show this sheet of paper or the label of the product.
